I recently got it and it's a lot of fun. Baseball fans will love it on higher levels. It's absolutely brutal if you don't take pitches and work the count or if you miss your location (which is easy to do if your timing is only slightly off). It really is a good game though. I'd recommend it to any baseball fan.
Well it looked good with some of the other games. There's always going to be one game that isn't up to snuff. Table tennis and the Socom demo looked pretty good. One game shouldn't make you think this is going to suck. Just like the Natal games shown shouldn't make you think it is going to suck. People love to jump to conclusions.

I gotta say, after seeing more of the PS3's Move controller it looks very good. More accurate than a Wiimote too. If Natal can come close to being as responsive and accurate then we'll have some competition. If Natal doesn't have those things, then it will never compete with the Move.
Responsiveness and accuracy are the two most important things a motion controller needs, in my opinion. The Move seems to have those things. Lets hope Natal does too.

Agreed with the camo. Not sure how that can be balanced with the rest of the game. Having a guy camouflaged half the game wouldn't be balanced and everyone would use it.
The bubble/over shield thing seems to be a way to avoid larger explosions. If your health is down and a grenade is tossed, use it and your ok. If a rocket is coming, use it. It, obviously, can also take out vehicles. I don't see that being overpowered at all.
Agreed, but it isn't an over shield like we're use to. Change the description up a bit and all will be fine. Probably should have said that in my original post. Didn't make that clear.
Everyone on this site preaches that reviews don't matter yet when a game gets a bad review you complain and if it gets a good review then it's obviously great. You can't have it both ways. Either they matter or they don't.
PD was an amazing game. I had countless hours of fun playing MP with my brother and a couple other kids from the neighborhood. Good times. I think I might just pick this up. I haven't bought an XBLA game in quite some time.
I like the gruntsrus website but they have a lot of things wrong with that list. Only 3 of those are confirmed. Sprint, Camo, and jetpacks are all confirmed. We also know of 2 more symbols but we aren't sure what they actually are. The one they have listed as an overshiled doesn't appear to be an overshield exactly. It's the thing shown protecting the Spartan from a Ghost in the trailer. Seems to be something different. We also don't know if roll/dodge is an armor ability.

God of war 3 may be one hell of a game (the first two certainly were), but to basically say it deserves a 10 or you have a bias is extremely idiotic and, well, clearly shows a bias on HHG's part.

When I first started playing Halo, I hated the driving controls, but once you get use to them, they grow on you. Very easy to handle once you get the hang of it. (because I never use it, the Banshee is still hard for me to control)
I can't wait for the beta. I want to know more about these new game types.
Of course God of War will be amazing. It will definitely sell like crazy, but like someone else said, BFBC2 has a bit of a head start. My money is stretched thin so I may not be able to pick GOW3 for a while unfortunately. Hope everyone enjoys it.

Just to let you know Venomous, these are screeshots that website took of a video Bungie put out earlier today. They did a horrible job because these screens are dark and blurry. Terrible quality and it's obvious they did it quick just to get hits off of the MP video news.

Oh how I love that Split-Screen got caught. They should have done something very simple to avoid posting such a blatantly false article; just look at the top of the website they linked to with the supposed Reach character model. It clearly says it was an art test. Great reporting Split-Screen!

Did anyone else notice how the 3D model talked about in the article was an art test model. Sounds to me it was just something the guy made in Maya to impress Bungie. Maybe part of his portfolio or something Bungie wanted him to make on his own. It's probably done on his own software and not with whatever Bungie is doing their models with. Who says that's the amount of polygons Reach's models will have? That one art test image proves nothing.
